History

​Argo is a 2nd generation tile and stone installation company that has its roots in the San Francisco , bay area. My family started its business in 1988 in Hayward Ca. VAP International (Vitanza , Azzolino , Pizzimenti) was my father and his two Italian partners that opened a warehouse and filled it with marble tiles and slabs. My family later bought the partners out ,purchased a bridge saw and polishing machine and started fabricating. The 90's and early 2000's were a phenominal time for them and they established themselves as big dogs in the industry.

​       Growing up in the industry , I always knew stone would be a huge part of my life. Playing in between crates and slabs was my childhood. After graduating Riordan in 2004 I dived into the manufacturing and fabricating side of the business and ran the family's Waterjet for 8 years before the company closed. During that time I took several CAD courses. My work can be seen all over the city in countless hotels and restaurants. After venturing out on my own dabbling in machining and the motorcycle industry I returned back to my roots and managed a tile and slab showroom for someone else. In 2016 , Argo tile and stone was born . I opened a small showroom , made some key contacts , establishing myself in the industry and decided to close after a year .Naturally to keep the business going I essentially became a tile apprentice and learned the fundamentals of the tile assembly. With lots of hard work and determination i have built a crew of talented artisans that can execute at a highly professional level.
